Click a buildable in the left panel, then click the ground. The ghost turns red with a reason when it can't go there. Hold Shift while clicking to keep placing the same piece. Esc cancels.
Line tool (walls, HESCO, sandbags, wire): click a start point, then click an end point — the run fills in automatically, skipping any segment that would collide.
| Select | Click a structure. Ctrl+click adds to the selection. Shift+drag on empty ground box-selects. |
| Move | Drag a structure. Arrow keys nudge by the snap step. G cycles the snap mode; Shift+wheel rotates. |
| Rotate | R / E clockwise, Q anticlockwise, by the rotate step. Groups rotate around their centre. |
| Duplicate / copy | Ctrl+D duplicates in place. Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V copies and pastes under the cursor. |
| Mirror | X flips the selection left–right around its centre — quick symmetric bases. |
| Delete | Delete or Backspace. |
| Undo / redo | Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y. |
| Camera | Drag empty ground to orbit, wheel to zoom, right- or middle-drag to pan. F focuses the selection, Home frames everything, T toggles top view. |
| Touch | One finger orbits or drags a structure, two fingers zoom and pan. Tap a structure, then use the toolbar buttons. |
Saves in this browser never need an account. Create one (username + password, nothing else) to keep builds in the cloud, publish them, vote on other squads’ bases and earn builder ranks — Recruit, Sapper, Engineer, Architect, Master Builder — from votes received. The Library shows the best builds this week and all time, and a Top Builders board.
Footprints may touch but never overlap. Structures that need a FOB must sit entirely inside the radius (turn Strict off to plan freely). Barbed wire, hedgehogs, sandbags and recon tents can be built without a FOB, so they can go anywhere. Only one FOB core per plan.
| All-round defence | Assume attacks from any side. Close the ring; put the core where every wall is the same distance away. |
| Mutual support | A corner tower or bunker sees two walls at once. Bastions on the corners fire along the wall so nobody can stand against it (Vauban’s rule). |
| Obstacles under fire | Wire slows and deflates tyres but can be cut silently in about a dozen punches — only obstacles you can see and shoot at actually stop anyone. |
| Depth | Tank traps outside the wire, wire outside the wall, blast walls inside. Losing one layer should not lose the base. |
| Jump-proof walls | Vehicles parked against a single-height HESCO wall become ladders. Stack HESCO two high and keep hedgehogs outside so trucks cannot reach the wall. |
| Entry control | One gate, a serpentine of barriers outside it so vehicles crawl, a bunker beside the gate with C4 for armour, double gates if you can afford them. |
| Separate the dangerous stuff | Fuel and ammo users on the far side from the sleeping shelters; the Drill Rig screened by its own HESCO. |
| Keep the yard clear | Mark an unloading zone right behind the gate. A Ural carries about 7,000 supplies in four armoured crates; a Z20 about 3,500 — plan the trips. |
| Kill dead ground | Any patch of ground no position can see is where the enemy will stand. Recon towers on corners and range rings in this planner show what is covered. |
| Standard layout | Roman legions dug the same camp every night so everyone knew it in the dark. Use one of the doctrine layouts and your squad will know where the fuel is before the first shot. |
The FOB is a $7,500 deployable that creates a build radius and holds four supplies: Build (construction and repairs), Ammo (reloading mortars, SAM and CIWS), Fuel (Drill Rig and Refuel Station) and Mechanical (Repair Station). Supplies arrive by Ural truck or Z20 Lakota helicopter. Support players build with a Small, Medium or Large hammer; the Drill Rig needs the Large hammer and pulls the Hot Zone to your FOB, where players count double toward presence.
The exact FOB radius and structure sizes are not published by the developers; this planner uses community estimates and lets you change the radius.
